We are forming a Friends of the Library Group and need interested people to join the effort. The major tasks of a library Friends Group are advocating and raising funds for the library. DonationsThe Dailey Memorial Library is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit corporation. Each year the trustees send a request for donations letter to the patrons and the community. The donations received from this letter are an important piece of the overall funding for the library. Please send your tax-deductible donation to:
101 Junior High Drive Derby, VT 05829 Other Ways to Give...In addition to the donations of money received, the library also receives gifts of books, audios and DVDs. If an item is already in our collection, or is not suitable, we sell the donation at our annual book sale, the proceeds of the sale are used to purchase new books, videos, and audios. We also receive donated subscriptions to magazines and newspapers. 
Adopt an Author or a Book!If you have a favorite author or heard about a book that you want to read, please consider joining this program. Purchase a book through the library, and be the first one to read it before it is put into circulation! How does the program work?An individual chooses a book to adopt from the library’s wish list. Every month, the Dailey provides a new list with different titles from which to choose. Books range from $7.00 to $25.00, depending on the title. You pay the library’s discount price and the library places the order for you. Each book that you adopt will have a book plate identifying you as the donor.
